Dental Implants

Tooth replacement options have come a long way in recent years. Although not exactly like a natural tooth, dental implants are an excellent option for replacing one tooth or many teeth. A dental implant refers to the titanium screw that is surgically inserted into the jawbone. An abutment (the attachment between the screw and the crown) is then fastened to the implant and a crown is placed on top.

CBCT scan

Before definitive implant treatment is determined, a Cone Beam Computed-Tomography (CBCT) scan is necessary to identify and plan all aspect of the implant surgery. This scan is taken in our office and reviewed by our doctors to ensure you get the highest quality of care.

Guided Surgery

Guided implant surgery significantly reduces the uncertainty associated with the placement of dental implants. In combination with the CBCT and intraoral scan, our doctors often virtually plan the placement of your dental implant before you even arrive for surgery day. Guided surgery allows for accurate angulation, depth, and position of the implant which leads to more precise restorations and gum health around the implant.
